Hewlett-Packard has a safety recall for fax machines 1010, 1010xi, 1040 or 1050.  Visit http://faxrecall.hpordercenter.com/US-en/default.aspx if yours is one of those.

Each month get updates for Adobe Flash, Reader and Java.  AVG 2012 is the default version at present (free and paid).  A free download... CCleaner is okay for fixing things from www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner .

Be sure to do a monthly full scan with your anti-virus client.  The 2nd Tuesday, late, is "Patch Tuesday" from Microsoft so be sure to get the monthly Windows updates.
